Ode to Confusion

I don’t understand all the hype behind the royal wedding. Call me a grinch, but I don’t see the point.

Having a massive, elaborate ceremony, strictly according to old traditions, doesn’t make sense to me. Firstly, it wastes soooo much money that could be put to better use. Secondly, I feel effort is misguided. Rather, instead of putting in so much effort into organizing a ceremony so intricately, rather focus on the most important part: the marriage. After all, the wedding is just an event that lasts only a day, instead of a marriage that will possibly span across a lifetime.

Call me crazy, but I think one day I want just a simple, quick, fun wedding ceremony ;)

Wow! I haven’t blogged in AGES! Feels good to finally write a post again :)

2011’s been a crazy year! I really miss my job at Electromode! That place was rad, even though it was difficult, and I miss working with musos! Wits is going reasonably well (as well as BScs can go, I guess), and I’ve made some incredibly awesome friends - thank God! :D so grateful that life always has it’s ups, even during hard times!

Steve and I are also just a month away from reaching the one year mark and I could not be happier :D he is pretty damn awesome and I feel really lucky to be with him! :)

Really cannot wait ‘til the big June holiday so I can get back into blogging properly, but for now, this’ll do :)
